American Association for Thoracic Surgery
Founded in 1917 to foster the evolution of an interest in surgery of the Thorax, today the AATS has grown to an international organization of 1186 whose members consist of the world's foremost cardiothoracic surgeons representing 35 countries throughout the world.

American College of Cardiology

National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute provides leadership for a national program in diseases of the heart, blood vessels, lung, and blood; blood resources; and sleep disorders.

National Library of Medicine Health Information

Society of Thoracic Surgeons
